I can't believe it how quickly this semester has flown past, in another week time, at this time, I will be done with my exams AND touching down at Changi Airport. -taking a deep breath- Singapore air! I can't wait! :D
On a change of mood,
was talking to my Mum this afternoon and was saddened by the information she told me. One of my cousins recently came back after completing her uni studies in Melbourne. During a conversation with my uncle, she told him that she was so ashamed of her parents that she didn't/couldn't want to talk about them with her Melbourne friends. Of what?! Alright, apparently her friends' parents are all either PhD holders or are very rich, so upon comparison, my uncle and aunt (her parents) who were just normal white-collars and only obtained a secondary cert got looked down, by who? By my dear cousin, their very own daughter. WHAT THE?!!!!! And to think that they sold off a house just so she can go Melbourne to study. They don't deserved this loh~!! I feel sorry for my aunt. *Grrr*
