It took me one day to realize what that phonecall means.

Yesterday after I called the vice-principal whose school seems willing to let me do my study there, I was half-hopeful and half-cheered. Half-cheered because I thought she has already said yes to let me do my study there; half-hopeful, because I'm not soo sure that was the exact thing that I heard.

Well, I think I finally digested what was happening over the phone yesterday. The vice-principal was JUST telling me what the whole procedure will be if I do my study there, and just because I heard "we will distribute the parental consents forms for you", I simply jumped to conclusion that I got the permission. Even when I double confirmed with her later, I think my ears were just picking up the things they want to hear. Haiz.... *heavy sigh* I think I must really get hearing aids when I go out to work and I bet the vice-principal didn't have a good impression of this student from Murdoch University. Honestly, I'm expecting to receive their email anytime today, to inform me that "We are regretful to inform you that we are not able to assist in your study. BLAH BLAH. We wish you good luck in your study." SIGH.

SIGH. Why didn't I just call, and asked could I meet her in person to discuss the study first!!!!??

Conclusion? I simply sux talking on the phone.

SIGH.
